What is Brainspotting?

Sometimes the body knows before the words come.

Brainspotting uses specific points in the visual field, focused attention, and therapeutic attunement to help access emotional and physiological activation connected to difficult experiences.

The goal is not to force a breakthrough. It is to create a focused therapeutic space where your brain and body can process what has remained unresolved or stuck.

Brainspotting Certified

Specialized training matters when the work goes deeper than conversation alone.

Why work with a certified therapist?

Clinical skill. Attunement. Your pace.

Atosha McLean is Brainspotting Certified and integrates Brainspotting when it is clinically appropriate and aligned with a client’s goals, needs, and comfort.

Brainspotting is not something that has to be used in every session. It can be one part of a broader therapeutic approach that remains collaborative, person-centered, and responsive to you.

What the process can look like

You don’t have to perform your healing.

01

We notice

We identify what feels activated, stuck, painful, or important to work with.

02

We locate

With your participation, we identify a visual point connected to that activation and establish a focused space for processing.

03

We process

You remain in control while we follow what emerges, with therapeutic support and attention to regulation throughout the work.

You don’t have to hold it all alone.
