Atosha McLean is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and her therapeutic approach revolves around establishing an authentic and judgment-free rapport with her clients. Her clients often find it easy to open up and confide in her. Atosha offers innovative mental health tools and strategies that promote self-care, self-reflection, and self-growth. She introduces trauma-informed strategies that empower clients to curate their own wellness ecosystems.

With expertise in Solution Focused, Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Brainspotting, Atosha is currently in the process of enhancing her services providing Brainspotting and Clinical Supervision.

As a woman with diverse life roles and experiences, Atosha has firsthand knowledge of the impact that trauma, anxiety, family issues, depression, and other mental health concerns can have on a client’s perspective, self-esteem, and daily functioning. She is deeply passionate about delivering exceptional mental health treatment and advocating for mental health accessibility for all.

Atosha’s experience in the field encompasses a wide range of mental health areas, including work as an inpatient admission coordinator, leading group sessions within inpatient and outpatient facilities, serving as an Employee Assistance Program Counselor and Case manager, and working in home and community-based treatment settings. Her commitment is to construct a sacred, safe space where clients are empowered to navigate their emotional challenges and mental health needs. In 2022, she realized her vision by opening her own private practice, Sacred Spaces Counseling Collective, which continues to thrive.
